Why join the PERS Public Agency Coalition (PAC)?
PAC members can call with any questions they may have concerning legislation or PERS developments. Collectively, the Sacramento staff of the PAC has more than 50-years experience working with PERS and the legislature.
That background is key to a service of the PAC which many agencies find to be one of the most useful—putting them in touch with the right person at PERS to take care of their problem. If you have called PERS on your own hoping to reach someone who can and will fix your problem, you know what a challenging experience that can be. Let the PAC cut through all that for you.

Our monthly Alert will keep you informed on current issues happening within PERS and the State Capitol. Each month all registered members will receive a printed copy delivered via firstclass mail. Upon request, an electronic version of this newsletter is also available via e-mail for you and other associate members within your city, county, or district at no additional cost.
What does it cost to join the Coalition?
A city's annual membership fee for the Public Agency Coalition (PAC) is based on its population, while the annual fee for a special district or a county is based on the number of employees in PERS. Our private sector members join at the $1,250 annual fee level. The membership rates for the PAC have remained unchanged since the inception of the organization more than seven years ago.
